Tomorrow (Thursday, 12 February) Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will meet Deng Alor Kuol, Foreign Minister of the Republic of the Sudan, for talks at the Federal Foreign Office.

The discussions will focus on the humanitarian situation and the settlement of the conflict in Darfur, the Sudan's cooperation with the International Criminal Court and the work of the UN Peace Mission in the Sudan.

Multilateral issues featuring in the talks will be the impact of the international economic and financial crisis on developing countries, EU cooperation with Africa as well as regional cooperation in the Horn of Africa.
