Statement by a Federal Foreign Office Spokesperson on the two terrorist attacks in Jerusalem
The despicable attacks that were carried out at bus stations in Jerusalem are an assault on the peaceful everyday lives of all Israelis. The terror and hatred they are intended to spread must not be allowed to gain the upper hand. We extend our deepest sympathies to the victims of these attacks. They have claimed the life of at least one person and have left many others severely wounded. Our thoughts are with those who were injured and with the families of the victims.

Shortly after 7 a.m. local time, two bombs detonated at bus stops in Jerusalem. A young person died of his injuries and several people who were wounded are in critical condition.
