Today’s terrorist attack in Tel Aviv is the third fatal attack within a week. As in Beersheba and Hadera, its brutality and cold-bloodedness are shocking. We condemn this wave of attacks in Israel in the strongest possible terms. There can be no justification for terrorism.

All who hold positions of responsibility and exert influence must roundly condemn these attacks so that the violence does not escalate further – particularly with a view to the upcoming Jewish, Muslim and Christian holidays.

Our thoughts are with the victims of these attacks, and we extend our profound sympathy in particular to the families – mothers, fathers and children – of those murdered. We wish those who have been injured a speedy recovery.
