This phone number can be contacted via text message as well. Messages will only be answered if indications of an actual emergency are given.

Accessibility Information
The Embassy supports citizens with disabilities and strives to facilitate their access to staff within the limits of the architectural constraints.
Barrier-free access to the office building is located in the inner courtyard of the embassy and can be used in special cases by appointment. All doors of the building are sufficiently wide, but are not barrier-free and do not have automatic closing or opening mechanisms. All floors of the embassy can be reached by an elevator, the operating buttons of which are in Braille. There are no accessible toilets in the embassy building.

Information about accessibility
The Consulate General supports citizens with disabilities and aims at facilitating their access to Consular staff within the framework of the structural conditions of the building.
If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility or need assistance, please contact us.
A barrier-free entrance to the lobby of the building, in which the Consulate General is located, is accessible from the Bloor Street entrance. The remaining entrances to the building are only barrier-free to a limited extent. The floor level on which the Consulate is located is accessible via elevators from the main lobby.
Accessible toilets are available on the floor on which the Consulate is located.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a visit to the Consulate General is currently only possible by prior appointment.
Visitors are only allowed to enter the Consulate when wearing a face mask. The Management of the World Trade Center is requesting visitors to wear masks in the lobby, the elevators and the washrooms. The number of people entering an elevator is limited to no more than two people at a time. There is no waiting in the common areas or the hallways of the World Trade Centre.

Access to the World Trade Center (999 Canada Place), where the Consulate General Vancouver is located, is barrier-free. There are two ways to get into the building:
In front of the main entrance are a few parking places, which can be used for getting in and out, the curb is partially lowered. On the pillar on the right hand side, in front of the main entrance, is a button that automatically opens the right door for a wide and stepless access. For a longer stay, it is advisable to use the parking spots in the parking garage. The elevators and all doors of the building have a sufficient width and are barrier-free.
The lift from the parking garage to the lobby does not have information in Braille. The four available elevators from the lobby to the seventh floor are featuring Braille. There is no further structural or technical support for blind and visually impaired people.
On the 7th floor, diagonally opposite the entrance to the Consulate General, is a toilet, which is not adapted for the disabled.
