Iran is one of the countries most badly affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. France, the UK and Germany are supporting Iran as it fights the disease.

According to the Iranian authorities, more than 1500 people have so far tested positive for the respiratory disease Covid-19 in the country, for 66 of those infected the disease proved fatal. Medical equipment for testing and to care for the ill is lacking which is why the Iranian Government asked the World Health Organization for support.
