At the next twice-yearly informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministers, known as the Gymnich meeting, discussions will focus on EU‑Africa relations, unresolved conflicts involving the EU’s eastern neighbours, and the Indo-Pacific region. Belarus will also be on the agenda.
At today’s virtual meeting, Minister of State Roth will liaise closely with his counterparts from Lisbon and Ljubljana on key policy areas of the EU Council Presidency. A joint statement will lay down the Trio’s agenda in this regard.
