Foreign Minister Westerwelle offers condolences following serious train crash in Poland

Foreign Minister Westerwelle issued the following statement today (4 March) on the deadly train crash in the south of Poland in which, according to initial reports, at least 15 people were killed and 54 injured:

I was shocked to learn of the grave train accident which left so many people killed or injured.
I convey our deep sympathy and sincere condolences to our Polish friends. We share the grief of the victims’ families and wish those injured a speedy recovery.
