After his return from Yemen, Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle had a telephone conversation with his US counterpart Hillary Clinton. He briefed Ms Clinton on his trip to the Gulf region and in particular his visit to Yemen. The Foreign Minister and the Secretary of State agreed to stay in close touch ahead of the Yemen meeting scheduled to take place in London on 27 January and to coordinate their future approach.
