At just under 18,000 square kilometres, the emirate of Kuwait is around the same size as Land Rhineland-Palatinate. Encouragement on the road towards the EU: Gabriel travels to Serbia and Kosovo

In Pristina Foreign Minister Gabriel also met his Kosovan counterpart Hoxhaj.

The civil war in the 1990s left scars in the Western Balkans which are felt to this very day. However, the region has come a long way since then.
