Federal Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier is due to have dinner on Tuesday (15 July) with Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations. Before that, the two will attend the opening session of the Forum “Responsible Sovereignty and International Cooperation for a Changed World”, which is being organized by the Managing Global Insecurity Project and the Bertelsmann Foundation.
The Secretary-General is coming to Germany for a two-day visit (15 and 16 July). In addition to conducting talks in Berlin on Wednesday (16 July), Ban Ki-moon will visit the United Nations Campus in the UN City of Bonn where 17 UN organizations are based. Two of the fields they focus on are the environment and development.
