Dialogue for greater climate protection

Not only does the respective national government play a role in developing international negotiating positions, but in many states scientists, business representatives, the media and civil society also engage in dialogue on their home country’s climate policy.

The Federal Foreign Office believes in the importance and wisdom of promoting this dialogue in other countries, too, in order to raise awareness of the need for far‑reaching climate protection, support bilateral dialogue on this issue and identify opportunities for cooperation with Germany in this field.
