Foreign Minister Steinmeier speaks on the phone with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov on the German-Russian agenda for the years ahead
A Federal Foreign Office spokesperson issued the following statement today (23 December) in Berlin:
”At midday today Federal Foreign Minister Steinmeier spoke on the phone with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov.
Sergey Lavrov congratulated Frank-Walter Steinmeier on reassuming the post of Federal Foreign Minister and invited him for initial bilateral talks to Moscow. Both ministers agreed to have an in-depth discussion on the German-Russian agenda for the years ahead during that meeting.“
