On Tuesday, 18 October 2011, Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is meeting with José Alberto Mujica Cordano, the President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay. Foreign Minister Luis Almagro will also take part in the talks.

The main issues to be discussed are the state of bilateral relations and the development of trade relations between the European Union and the Mercosur countries.
