Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is meeting the Commander of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, today (24 November).

The talks will focus on the current situation in Afghanistan and the implementation of the strategy adopted at the NATO summit in Lisbon on gradually handing over responsibility for security to the Afghans.
