Ukraine: consultation with Baltic partners Foreign Minister Steinmeier travelled to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania at the beginning of the week to advocate a “united” and “resolute” European position in the Crimea crisis. In his discussions Steinmeier gave assurances that the European partners shared the concerns of people in the Baltic region.
