Minister of State Link presents the Franco German Year and meets with France’s Minister Delegate for European Affairs Cazeneuve

Ahead of the meeting between Federal Chancellor Merkel and French President Hollande on 22 September in Ludwigsburg, Minister of State Michael Link, the Federal Government’s Commissioner for Franco German Cooperation, has presented the plans for the Franco German year of celebration.
At a press conference on 21 September, Minister of State Link will also present the new Franco German internet site external link, opens in new windowwww.elysee50.de in German and external link, opens in new window50ans.france-allemagne.fr in French.
On Friday afternoon, Minister of State Link will take part in the Franco German school parliament in Stuttgart.
That evening he will meet with France’s Minister Delegate for European Affairs, Cazeneuve. The Ministers will then participate in a panel discussion on Europe organized by the Deutsch Französisches Institut and the city of Ludwigsburg. Erwin Teufel, former Minister President of Baden Württemberg and current President of the Deutsch Französisches Institut, will open the discussion.
