I am pleased that Doğan Akhanlı has been released.
It would be bad if Turkey could also have people who raise their voice against President Erdoğan put in prison at the other end of Europe.
I have the utmost trust in the Spanish judicial system and know that our friends and partners in the Spanish Government are aware of what is involved.
