The Foreign Office is headed by Guido Westerwelle, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs. He is assisted by two Ministers of State and three State Secretaries.

Tasks of the coordinators and commissioners

We inform you on the tasks of the Commissioner for Franco-German Cooperation, the Coordinator of German-Polish Cooperation and the Coordinator of German-American Cooperation as well as on the tasks of the Commissioner for Human Rights Policy.
